About David Troxel
Born in Akron Ohio I spent most of my early childhood exploring the great outdoors blazing new paths in the fresh fallen snow, catching lightning bugs, spending endless summers living out of a canvas tent, then winding out the year carving pumpkins and jumping in the fresh pile of raked leaves. Having spent most of my days outside playing it is no surprise that I've gained a huge appreciation for the beauty of nature.
The love of the camera was instilled early in my life, as my father was a photography enthusiast who managed to capture nearly every moment of my familys life. Later, while serving in the United States Navy, I rediscovered my love of the camera and its ability to capture a place in time forever.
I believe one can stand in the same place for 365 days and never see the same scene twice. I enjoy seeing the world from different perspectives such as from a tiny ants point of view or how a soaring eagle may observe the earth. Capturing the wonders of this amazing planet and its inhabitants in a manner most never see is a passion that keeps me looking through the glass.
